“ My cupboard is full of canned jars of salsa, tomato-basil sauce, applesauce, canned peach halves, bread & butter pickles, dill pickles, frozen chicken noodle soup with your carrots & onions, frozen zuch-choc. chip bread from your recipe, a modified version of the recipe using baked butternut squash and homemade applesauce, and finally, a big baked fruit crisp with apples, pears, peaches sliced on the bottom with a little cinn&sugar and a crisp on top of nuts, brown sugar, butter, and a little flour. yummm. The plums got their own little plum crisp dish. Oh yeah, and I made a plum-pear chutney that's in the freezer in little jam jars! It will be much easier to enjoy the winter every time we open a little Tagge's sunshine saved from the summer. ”
